Patients with valid Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) coverage are entitled to access insured services at no charge.1 Services provided by the Sleep Diagnostics Centre, the Barrie Sleep Disorders Clinic and the York County Sleep Disorders Centre, collectively known as SDC, are OHIP-insured services. Patients will not be charged above and beyond what OHIP covers for insured services.
As a patient of the SDC, if you feel that you may have been charged for an insured service or for access to an insured service, you should contact the Ministry’s Protecting Access to Public Healthcare program by one of the following ways:
