People-centred care is a model that uses evidence of patients being meaningfully included as a
member of the team, not just as recipients of care. People-centred care can:

  • improve quality and safety
  • result in better outcomes
  • influence how services are planned and organized with value to clients, providers and the system at large

The following parameters are monitored to ensure receive feedback and optimize patient satisfaction.

  • At the end of the sleep study, each patient will complete a patient experience survey.
  • Suggestion Box – located in each lab, these will be reviewed by the Laboratory Manager.
  • Online – patients are encouraged to complete the patient satisfaction survey.

If any negative comments are identified, the lab manager will contact the patient directly to investigate the nature of the concern.
